Just had to stop by and show you a demonstration of unhealthy living on my healthy living blog…

Ahhh, but what’s life without a little indulgence? I’m not too sure where jager bombs fit into that, but at least it was fun!! We can’t be perfect all the time
I don’t know why, but I’ve been starving all day. I’m now past the 5 days of no oatmeal challenge and went oat-free for the sixth day in a row.

Looking at this picture makes me realize I really miss oats. For simplicity this morning, I overnighted some muesli and almond milk with protein powder then stirred in some strawberries and sunflower seed butter this morning. I ate it cold once I got to work. It was… alright. Would have been better with yogurt. And maybe some hot oat bran and a banana
Can you guess what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow?
Breakfast #2 was the usual.
I did however spice up the breakfast sandwich with a slice of Canadian “facon.”
The hunger soon reappeared so I tried out a new kind of Clif bar (to me anyways).
I had low expectations for this because I don’t normally like cherry flavoured things, but this wasn’t too bad! Don’t think I’ll buy it again though, too many better flavours out there.
Usually Clif bars do a good job at holding me over, but my tummy was violently growling only two hours after this. Just in time for me to get home and make a lunch.

First, I cracked open a new jar of almond hazelnut butter (it was on sale and I caved!!) and drizzled it all over my usual carrot sticks. Nomnomnom. I also mashed up the rest of my herring in tomato sauce with the remainder of my homemade hummus. Awesome combo!!! I put it on top of two small pieces of dark rye toast.
As you can see by my schedule –> today is a short run and strength day. But I’m thinking of doing a medium run today and then a full strength day tomorrow. It works better with the schedule I’m planning for next week. (the only thing I pre-plan are my run distances for the month, otherwise I hammer it out at the start of each week because things are always changing!)
I also got my schedule for graduation day, and I have to be on campus at 10:30 am, and my race starts at 8 am. So I’m leaning even more now toward the 5k instead of the 10k. I’m just not sure if I can run 6.2 miles, go home, eat, shower, get ready and situated on campus in such a short period of time (remember, I’m a slow runner!) I have three weeks until the race, so I’m going to wait until the week before to register.
Now I’m off to attempt another outdoor run. I have no route planned, I’m just going to get out there and run and see what happens. Sometimes, you just need an unstructured workout!!
Edit: I forgot! I edited my “About Me” page. I know I haven’t “technically” finished school yet (last exam tomorrow!) but it was just easier. I’m going to be overhauling my poor neglected recipe page in the coming days too. Okay, that’s all this time. Now go enjoy the last of your weekend!

Everyone deserves a break from the healthiness once in a while!!! Looks like you had a fun evening
